The Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cape Fear Area United Way location:

On behalf of Co-Chairs Spiro Macris and Windell Daniels, and the Steering Committee overseeing the development of the 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness in the Lower Cape Fear Region, we are pleased to present the initial draft of this Plan for your review.

The Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness in the Lower Cape Fear Region is a regional effort designed to move multiple “working together” efforts to working through an integrated community collaboration that focuses and maximizes the community’s resources toward clearly defined strategies that address the multiple facets of why we have a homeless problem in our community.  This Plan outlines the key goals, outcomes, indicators and strategies necessary to successfully eliminate chronic homelessness in our region. 

As a key stakeholder in our community we ask that you carefully review this document and provide any comments, ideas or suggestions that you may have.  It is requested your comments be e-mailed to Ms. Jane Fullerton at jane.fullerton@wilmingtonnc.gov by Monday, August 6, 2007.   Comments may also be mailed to City of Wilmington, Lillie R.
