The Riverfront Farmers' Market is held each Saturday morning from April through December in Riverfront Park. The market features local farmers, producers, artists and crafters. Products offered include fresh fruits and berries, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, cheeses, meats, seafood, honey, baked goods, fudge, legumes, pickled items, jams and jellies, art, crafts, and more. The 9th Annual Wilmington Dog Jog will be held on Saturday September 6, 2008 at the Legion Stadium Sports Complex located on Carolina Beach Road. This year's Dog Jog will benefit the Pender County Humane Society! The event features a 5k run, 1.5 mile fun walk, vendors, doorprizes and much more! Have you been naughty or nice? Visit Santa and one of his Elf's to find out before he heads off to deliver presents all around the world! The line to visit Santa closes at 8:30 pm each night so arrive early. Each child will receive a candy cane and a special toy from Santa. This is a free event so don't forget to bring your camera! The Wilmington Holiday Parade will be held on Sunday December 7, 2008 and is hosted by the City of Wilmington's Recreation Division.  Entry forms will be available online beginning in September 2008!
