The Construction Management Section oversees improvements to Wilmington’s transportation network, public buildings and facilities, water distribution system, wastewater conveyance system, and storm water infrastructure.  This group administers many of the public contracts from award to final completion, supports capital project planning and design, issues permits for work within the public right-of-way, inspects private sector development and capital projects, and responds to citizens’ concerns regarding work in progress.  Our goal is to promote professionalism and ensure the highest quality workmanship while meeting schedules and budget constraints.
