The following work inside a City of Wilmington Right of Way requires a permit:

• Road or Alley closure
• Residential Driveway 
• Sidewalk Closure
• Commercial Driveway
• Parking Space closure
• Sidewalk (4" concrete)
• Pavement Disturbance
• Utility Installation
• New Fence, Wall, Building, etc.
• Materials Storage
• Awning/Canopy
• Trash Dumpster 

Instructions:  You may complete the permit application online or print it out and bring it to the Engineering Section in person.  If you complete the form online, you will be notified via e-mail or telephone when your permit is ready.  You may then come to our office at 305 Chestnut St. to pay for and pick up your permit.

Submission of the application does not constitute a permit and does not authorize the work.
