The technical review committee works with local developers, and the planning department to ensure development plans and activities meet required technical standards for the City of Wilmington. 

The city planning staff is implementing changes that should positively impact the Technical Review Committee (TRC) process.  Beginning in January 1st, 2008, there will be a 2-week turn around for TRC submission and review instead of the current 3-week turnaround. Please see the TRC submission deadline/meeting schedule. Deadline submission dates are each Wednesday by 1:00 pm and can be expected to be reviewed the following 3rd Thursday. Also, please note that at the time of TRC submission, the applicant will now be required to submit 10 copies of the site plan and a CD of the site plan.  Requirements vary for other submissions.

TRC schedule and agendas with the proposed plans are also available for viewing on the city website. They can be found under Development Services, Planning, Development Review. Agendas will be e-mailed the Monday following their submission and provided on the web that Tuesday.
