The Transportation Planning Unit is responsible for long range transportation planning for the City and surrounding metropolitan area. The City of Wilmington is the Lead Planning Agency for the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization. Transportation planning staff also provides administrative support for the Technical Coordinating Committee, Transportation Advisory Committee (Committees for MPO), and the Bicycle Advisory Committee.
