Wilmington Police Chief Ralph Evangelous was among approximately 20 other leaders of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies who gathered on the Battleship North Carolina on May 13 to sign an agreement creating the North Carolina Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX).

LInX is a database containing law enforcement records from local, state and federal agencies, including military records. The Wilmington Police Department will have access to records from participating departments in North Carolina as well as the LInX databases in eight other states.
