Riverfront Farmers' Market

Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Date Posted:  6/9/2008

The Riverfront Farmers' Market started its fifth year on April 19!

The City of Wilmington Parks, Recreation & Downtown Services Division established the Riverfront Farmers' Market in 2004. It's a curbside market featuring products from local farmers, producers, artists and crafters. There is also musical entertainment each week.

The Riverfront Farmers' Market was developed to provide a place for local growers, producers, artisans and crafters to sell their goods directly to consumers, to educate consumers about local farming and seasonal eating, to encourage and promote the use of locally grown farm products and to enhance quality of life in Greater Wilmington by providing a community activity that fosters social gathering and interaction.

The Riverfront Farmers' Market takes place each Saturday from April 19 - December 20, 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Historic Downtown Riverfront on N. Water Street (between Market Street and Princess Street).
