Construction of the center court at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex is now underway. The $39,000 project is being funded with balances left in the Empie Park Tennis Improvements from the joint City/County Parks bond project and a $12,000 grant from the United States Tennis Association. The center court is being constructed in front of the clubhouse (see the picture on the left above).
The project should be complete in early May.
