The city recently completed construction on approximately 1,200 feet of sidewalk and wheelchair ramps along the north side of Market Street. The sidewalk was built between 23rd Street and Barnard Drive.
Crosswalks were also added to the intersecting streets.
The $57,000 project was part of the city's Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement Program. Last August, sidewalk improvements were constructed at Barclay Hills and Market Street as part of this project.
This project began on April 2.
