The city held another public informational meeting on May 29 regarding a proposed minor league ballpark in Wilmington. The first public meeting was held on May 8.
The purpose of this meeting was be to hear the preliminary findings of the city's baseball consultant, National Sports Services who reported on survey results, preliminary site analysis and preliminary market analysis for the Wilmington market.
National is using this data to formulate a feasibility analysis and recommendations for City Council consideration in June.
