Tuesday, August 7, City Council meeting, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall
Items of interest on the agenda included:
- A public hearing for a bond referendum not to exceed $37 million for the cost of the stadium and land.
- Consideration of a resolution that would provide official agreement to put the issue on the Nov. 6 ballot, if Council decides to move forward with the referendum.
- Council also acted on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Braves/Mandalay contingent on their approval of the bond referendum.

The next Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 21. The agenda for the next meeting will be posted on the city's website on Friday, August 17.
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, which is located on the second floor of City Hall at 102 North 3rd Street. Parking is available in the Thalian Hall parking lot or in the city parking deck located directly across from City Hall. Meetings are also broadcast on GTV (Time Warner Cable channel 8) or simulcast by clicking "Online Videos" on the city's website.
