Various enhancements to the Riverwalk - Wilmington's #1 tourist attraction - have recently been installed, including thirteen new historical interpretive signs and five wayfinding panel maps.
The $118,000 project also includes additional banners and pennants which will be mounted this week, as well as pavement markings to delineate the portions of the riverwalk that follow the sidewalk.
The Wilmington riverwalk is currently 1.25 miles, but it will eventually stretch 2 miles when complete. |
