There will be a free nature hike at 1 p.m. at Halyburton Park this Saturday as part of Take a Child Outside Week. Halyburton Park is located at 4099 S. 17th Street.
Children 3 and up are invited to come out and learn about the outdoors on a naturalist-led hike through the park. Participants will explore the park and discover plants, animals, animal signs and tracks on the trail, then explorers will go in the Nature Center to take a closer look at snakes.
