Help find missing Wilmington woman

The Wilmington Police Department is seeking assistance in locating an 83-year-old woman who may be endangered. Alma Lawson of Wilmington was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 4 in the Love Grove neighborhood off Red Cross Street. She told a friend that she was headed home, and she has not been seen since. It is believed she was on foot.

Mrs. Lawson is described as a black female, approximately 5’5” tall, weighing 102 pounds. When last seen, she was wearing a lavender shirt, black pants and a black jacket. According to a family member, Mrs. Lawson is believed to be experiencing early signs of dementia.
