Tree Lighting
The downtown tree lighting will take place on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park beginning with holiday entertainment, followed by the lighting of the tree at approximately 6:25 p.m. Entertainment will include the Epik Jazz Trio and the Thalian Association Performance Group. Vendors, including downtown businesses, will be selling arts and crafts. The event is a partnership between the Downtown Business Alliance (DBA) and the City of Wilmington’s Recreation & Downtown Services Division.

Free on-street parking
Planning on some Black Friday shopping downtown or attending the tree lighting? On-street parking will be free on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24. Parking in the decks is free for the first hour.
