City offices closed New Year's Day

City of Wilmington offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in observance of New Year's Day.
Trash, yard waste and recycling service will be unaffected by the closure. City customers who normally have their trash, recycling and yard waste picked up on Tuesdays are asked to have all items curbside by 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1.
The city's new every-other-week recycling schedule will begin the week of Jan. 7. Visit wilmingtonnc.gov/recycling to view a schedule and to find out when your recycling will be collected in 2013.
