The city held a public meeting to discuss a future city park in the Seagate area on Thursday, February 28 at Winter Park Elementary School.
This one-acre parcel of land located at 6001 Mariner Lane was donated to the City for use as a public park.
This was the second public meeting on the park. At the first meeting in January 2013, city staff gathered public input as to what type of amenities area residents would like to see included. At the February 28 meeting, staff discussed park design including amenities and the project timeline.
