The city held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, March 15 at 3 p.m. on the front steps of City Hall to celebrate the completion of the North 3rd Street Improvement Project. All lanes of traffic are now fully open.
The $10.4 million investment in 3rd Street began in August 2011 and involved the replacement of aging water and sewer lines, the placement of power and other utilities underground, as well as road re-surfacing, new sidewalks, traffic signals and streetlights.
