The city is holding a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 20 at Halyburton Park, 4099 S. 17th Street to discuss future parks and recreation facilities and programs.
A new 5-year Master Plan is in development to determine long-range goals regarding the city's parks and recreation facilities and programs. A second meeting is set for Thursday, November 13 at the MLK, Jr. Community Center, 401 S. 8th Street at 6:30 p.m.
Both meetings are open to the public.
