Wilmington Police Department Demo Day

Children from local pre-kindergarten and day care centers were treated to the Wilmington Police Department's Demo Day which is held quarterly at their main headquarters on Bess Street.

Approximately 200 children participated in the event. The youngsters and their teachers enjoyed demonstrations from mounted patrol, boat patrol, the SABLE helicopter, K-9 unit, prisoner transport and traffic patrol.
