The Northside Splash Pad is now open!
The Splash Pad is 40 feet by 30 feet and features interactive water play for all ages and is a fully automated, zero depth recreational system that includes features such as geysers, water cannons, dumping buckets and more!
The facility is free of charge and is located at 750 Bess Street (across from the Wilmington Police Department Headquarters). The Splash Pad will remain open through early October, weather permitting.
The Legion Stadium and Robert Strange pools are now open.
The Legion Stadium and Robert Strange pools will be open Saturdays only through June 6, then they will be open Monday through Saturday (closed on Sunday) between June 8 and August 22. The Northside pool will be open Monday through Saturday (closed on Sunday) between July 1 and August 22.
Pool admission is $1 per child and $2 per adult. All facilities are handicap accessible and equipped with bathhouses/restroom facilities. Pools also feature lifeguard staff on duty at all times.
