The city is overseeing streetscape improvements along North Front Street from Third Street to Red Cross Street, including Harnett Street.
This beautification project includes new landscaped medians, decorative crosswalks, streetlights, street trees and paving. The improvements will enhance the corridor to the downtown Front Street businesses. Construction on the project began in early August and was complete in April 2010.
