| A grand opening ceremony for Olsen Park was held at the park, located at 5510 Olsen Park Lane, on Aug. 23. The project is a joint City/County project funded by the Parks and Greenspace Bond.
The park includes:
- 32 acres of recreational space
- Five lighted softball fields
- Restroom/concession building
- Restroom/vending building
- Picnic shelter
To visit the park, take N. College Road past Laney High School and Trask Middle School (on the right). Turn right on NorthChase Parkway (the first traffic light past the schools). Turn right on Corporate Drive and follow the road into Olsen Park.
NOTE: There is no entry to the park off Murrayville Road. You must enter the park from Northchase Parkway/Corporate Drive.
