Seagate Fire Station Under Construction

Workers prepare materials for the foundation of the new Seagate Fire Station at 6011 Oleander Drive. Significant improvements to the local stormwater system, combined with a unique site design, allow the station to be built on the site of the old Seagate station. Construction of the station allows the city to better serve residents in the annexed areas and maintain its Class 2 rating, which reflects both superior equipment and manpower, as well as quick response times to fires. The project is expected to be complete in September of 2008.
