Purpose

The purpose of the Authority is to provide 45 million gallons a day of raw water to the Authority's membership, which includes the City of Wilmington, Bladen, Columbus, Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender Counties.  The Authority functions as a water utility in providing the sale of raw ater to any member government of the Authority that requests such service.  The Authority can also sell water directly to industries in the region upon request.  In general, the Authority operates under the same powers and guidelines as do cities and counties.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
