The City is governed by a non-partisan City Council consisting of a Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and five Councilmembers.
Council appoints the City Manager who carries out the policy decisions of Council through City staff, the City Attorney who gives legal advice to the City and the City Clerk who maintains official records for the City.
