Below is the amended Monkey Junction Annexation Area Service Plan. Among other things, the plan outlines the services which would be provided to the annexed area and the city's plan on how the annexation will be financed.

City Council officially accepted the original plan at their February 17, 2009 City Council Meeting. Some areas in the annexation area wished to be voluntarily annexed, so the plan had to be amended. The amended plan was passed at the May 5, 2009 Council Meeting.
