The Wilmington MPO, in partnership with the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County, has begun preparation of a Comprehensive Greenway Plan for the City of Wilmington and New Hanover County. This plan will provide a framework for local governments and project partners to establish a comprehensive network of greenways. The planning process began with a project Kick-Off Meeting in January 2012, and is expected to conclude at the end of this year.
