The City of Wilmington Parks Department maintains approximately 250 acres of landscaped parks, green spaces, medians, public buildings, and athletic facilities citywide. We invite you to enjoy Wilmington's many beautiful outdoor spaces!
City introduces parks hotline
The City of Wilmington is making it easier for citizens to get information about city parks by introducing a new hotline, effective today.
The new hotline may be reached by calling 341-7852. Citizens can call the hotline to get information quickly on how to reserve park areas for special events or to voice concerns about city parks.
Along with making reservations for park space, citizens can call the hotline to get information about reserving city ball fields, city pools and other city recreational programs.
“Our city parks and other recreational facilities are great resources that are paid for by citizens’ tax dollars. We want to make it as easy as possible for citizens to access and enjoy those facilities,” said Public Services Director Richard King.
