The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board strives to effectively assess the wishes of the citizens of Wilmington regarding the needs, planning and management for the quality of parks, facilities and recreation programs while advocating for the improvement of these programs.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.  Location of monthly meeting varies by month.  Please call 341-4604 for location of meeting.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is working on determining the best methods to improve and expand parks, facilities, green space and recreational opportunities utilizing both public and private resources.  The 11 member Advisory Board is seeking input from the public in order to achieve this goal.
