MLK Summer Camp

Ages:  8-12  Cost:  $25/week  Space is very limited
June 19 - August 18 (No camp the week of  July 3-7)
Time:  7:45 am - 5:30 pm

Maides Park Summer Camp  (1/2 day camp)

Each day different habitats will be explored,  learning all about dragonflies, butterflies, spiders, snakes, frogs, toads, birds, and other wildlife.

Eco Adventure Camp   Flyer

Campers will learn about barrier islands,  sea turtles, explore a marsh, crab and seine to discover marine life and explore nature around Wilmington on field trips to various natural areas. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, hiking and a lot more!  Lunch is not included.

Greenfield Grind Skatepark Camp

Skatepark is located behind 302 Willard Street @ Greenfield Park

Beginner Skateboarding Clinics

Skater will become familiar with his/her equipment.  Identify potential safety hazards.  Begin to understand the “setup” of a skatepark. Establish and begin to develop fundamental  skateboarding skills.    (Web Activity #201013)   

Tennis Camp @ Empie Park

About the Camp Director:
Tari Ann Toro is the manager for the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex at Empie Park.  She  has coached for more than a decade at the highest level of collegiate and junior tennis, and played professionally after graduating from the College of William & Mary.  She coached for 5 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where
they won an NCAA doubles championship, and were consistently ranked top five as a team in the nation.  She enjoys working with all ages and levels and is really looking forward to making the tennis program at Empie Park one of the best in the state.
