The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is the City of Wilmington’s annual publication designed to present fairly the financial activity of the various funds and component units. All necessary disclosures are included to enable the reader to gain an understanding of the City’s financial activities over the previous year.

 

 

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of Wilmington for its comprehensive annual financial report for the previous 26 years.

 

The Certificate of Achievement is a prestigious national award recognizing achievement with the highest standards in government accounting and financial reporting.
