Important Update for Firefighter Candidates: The time of the Strength & Agility Observation/Practice for Firefighter candidates on January 10th, 2012, has been changed from 9 am - 12:00 pm to 5:30 - 8:30 pm. This event will take occur at the same location and you may use the same parking pass as previously received. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like to attend Jan. 5th's Observation/Practice instead, please email Andrea Good at andrea.good@wilmingtonnc.gov.

Jan. 5th and 12th, 2012: Strength & Agility Observation/Practice (This is optional and will be explained in the letter being sent out on 12/23/2011) January 31st and Feb. 1st, 2012: Written Testing - Last names beginning with A through M will test on Jan. 31st, Last names N through Z will test Feb. 1st (Details in letter sent out on 12/23/2011) March 12th through March 23rd: Strength & Agility Assessments/Video Interviews (You will be scheduled for one date should you pass the written test) April 9th through April 13th: Panel Interviews (For those candidates moving on in process) April 24th: New hires will be notified May 21st: Recruit Academy begins
