Tuesday, Dec. 4, City Council meeting, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall
Agenda items of interest included:
- Two rezoning requests and related public hearings that would allow for more density within residential areas – one on Lave Avenue and the other on Greenville Loop Road.
- Resolution to award a $673,000 construction contract for a drainage improvement project in the area of Cardinal Drive/George Trask Drive. The project will help alleviate flooding that has long been a problem in this area. The project is a continuation of drainage improvements in this area that began with the $1.5 million Market Street/Inland Greens project completed in 2009.

Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, which is located on
the second floor of City Hall at 102 North 3rd Street. Parking is
available in the Thalian Hall parking lot or in the city parking deck
located directly across from City Hall. Meetings are also broadcast on
