Public Safety Citizens' Academy

The Wilmington Police and Fire departments are now recruiting qualified citizens for a weekly citizens' academy to be held Thursdays from March 14 - May 2. Classes will be held from 6-9 p.m. 
 

The Police & Fire Citizens’ Academy provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the day‐to‐day operations of the Wilmington Police & Fire Departments. 

 
Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old, in good health and have no criminal record.
