The Wilmington Police Department is proud to announce that during the last Southport City Council meeting, on February 15, the Southport Chief of Police, Chief Dove, recognized the three heroes that rescued the elderly man from the waterfront after his car plunged into the water.
One of those heroes is WPD's own, Cadet CJ Bryant, seen in the picture on the left being handed his award.
