On Saturday, the Wilmington Police Department will host a seminar to help local ministries avoid scams and other crimes. The event is free and open to the public and will be held at WPD headquarters, located at 615 Bess Street. This seminar will assist churches and congregations who are often the target of scams. Topics include:
- Sex predators
- Financial scams
- Domestic violence
- Substance abuse
To register, contact the WPD Community Resource Office at 341-4608. The registration deadline is Friday, March 15.
