There will be a Fall Festival at Halyburton Park on Saturday, November 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. which will be fun for the whole family!
A variety of free nature activities for children and adults will be offered at stations set up throughout the park, including pond study, animal tracks, NC Wildlife's sensory safari, NC Aquarium's shark table, project learning tree, bird adaptations, spider toss, turkeys in the barnyard, pumpkin walk, build-a-scarecrow, backyard birds and birdfeeding and water quality. In addition, there will be live music, hayrides throughout the day, snake and turtle feeding and a live Birds of Prey presentation.
