The environmental assessment for the Sweeney water treatment plant expansion is now complete. The city's consultant, Arcadis, and the City of Wilmington Public Utilities staff plan to hold an informational meeting on Tuesday, December 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to share the results of the study with the public. The meeting will be held in the Lord Spencer Compton Conference Room in City Hall, which is located at 102 N. Third Street.
The public may view the environmental assessment in the Public Utilities offices on the 5th floor of 305 Chestnut Street or at the main branch of the New Hanover County Public Library located at 201 Chestnut Street.
