Tuesday, November 10, 2009 - 12:30 p.m.

The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a robbery at Bank of America, 3500 S. College Road. The call was dispatched at 10:32 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

According to witnesses, a man went to the counter and passed a note demanding money. No weapon was shown. The teller handed over cash, and the man left on foot. Based on preliminary Investigation, detectives believe the suspect may have walked behind adjacent businesses and left in a vehicle parked near building 729 in the Hampton Place apartments on Bragg Drive.

Today's robber is described as a white male in his 30's or 40's, wearing a yellow cap, a green sweatshirt and jeans. He had dark facial hair (see photos) and he was wearing glasses.
