This year’s ceremony will feature the official dedication of the newly constructed Law Enforcement Memorial. The Memorial was erected to honor the memory of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty throughout New Hanover County.

Law enforcement agencies participating in Thursday’s ceremony will include the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Wrightsville Beach Police Department, Carolina Beach Police Department and Kure Beach Police Department.

The public is invited to attend.
