The Wrightsville Beach drawbridge will be up longer than normal Wednesday, June 19 at 5 p.m. so that a house can be transported by barge on the Intracoastal Waterway. The house will then be transported by land on Thursday morning starting at 9 a.m., blocking both lanes of U.S. 74.
Intermittent lane closures can be expected on Greenville Loop Road as crews install drainage improvements in preparation for construction of a 1/2-mile long sidewalk to Bradley Creek Elementary.
