Halyburton Park's Summer Nature Series wraps up August 14 with a night time nature hike through the park from 9 p.m. - 10 p.m. The hike will go on rain or shine, unless there is thunder and lightning in the area.
Prowl the park after dark and clear up some misconceptions about night creatures such as bats and owls and learn how these animals are adapted to night life. The hike is led by a Halyburton Park naturalist.
The park is located at 4099 S. 17th Street. The cost is $5 per person and pre-registration is required. Call 341-0075 to register.
