FREE midnight basketball program at MLK

The city's FREE Midnight Basketball Program will kick off starting Friday, June 20 at 8 p.m. The program will take place from 8 p.m. to midnight each Friday through August 22 at the MLK, Jr. Community Center for youths age 12‐18.

WPD to apply for $1.2 million grant

City saves money with LED lights
The City of Wilmington has just finished converting more than 200 streetlights to environmentally-friendly LED lights, which will save more than $10,000 a year. City's bond rating upgraded
