City saves $257,000 by recycling

Over the past year, the City of Wilmington has saved more than $257,000, thanks to city recycling customers. City recycling customers recycled about 8 percent more this past fiscal year than they did in the previous year.

Water St paving underway
City crews are applying temporary pavement and patches on Water Street between Princess and Walnut streets as part of the city’s streets maintenance program.
