Tour of historic buildings

On Friday, March 13, Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo and other area elected officials joined Susan Kluttz, Secretary of the NC Department of Cultural Resources, on a tour of historic buildings in downtown Wilmington. The tour highlighted various buildings that have been renovated with historic preservation tax credits, both residential and commercial.

Convention Center hotel land sold
On December 3, the City of Wilmington finalized the land sale for a $33.6 million Embassy Suites Hotel next to the Wilmington Convention Center.
