Riverwalk

Convention Center hotel to break ground
Harmony Hospitality will be breaking ground on their 186-room, $36 million full-service Embassy Suites Hotel next to the Wilmington Convention Center. The privately-owned hotel will include a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar, pool and additional meeting space. The hotel is expected to open in the spring of 2017.

Riverwalk improvements continue
The City of Wilmington’s Riverwalk is the city’s #1 tourist attraction and work is currently underway to maintain existing sections and extend the Riverwalk to the north.
