Additional security planned for City Council meetings
In order to increase public security at Wilmington City Council meetings, access to Council chambers in City Hall will be limited to one entrance by the end of this month, or early next month. On Wednesday, UNCW and the City of Wilmington will host a panel of UNCW faculty experts who will discuss gun violence. The meeting will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. in the CIS Building on the UNCW campus, Room 1008. The forum is free of charge and members of the community and media are invited to attend. [Read more...]
