Community meeting on gang violence
On Wednesday, UNCW and the City of Wilmington will host a panel of UNCW faculty experts who will discuss gun violence. The meeting will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. in the CIS Building on the UNCW campus, Room 1008. The forum is free of charge and members of the community and media are invited to attend. [Read more...]

P.A.L. Hoops seeks players

Gun buy-backs Saturday
Three churches will host a Gun Buy-Back effort sponsored by LINC Inc. and supported by WPD, Pender County and NHC Sheriff's Office on Saturday, August 24th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Individuals who turn in guns will be offered $100 for working handguns and $200 for assault weapons. [Read more...]
