The special operations division consists of vice and narcotics, SABLE (Southeastern North Carolina Airborne Law Enforcement), Canine, CCU (criminal conspiracy unit), traffic, and collateral units. The collateral units consist of extra duties officers take on such as pipes and drums, bomb unit, SWAT team, CNT (crisis negotiation team), and the honor guard.
